Speaker Profile:
She has worked in the world of brand and marketing in the UK and internationally for more than 20 years.
A graduate in Business & Finance with a major in marketing, she started her career in Hong Kong where she gained exposure to markets across the Asia Pacific Region. Working with a number of international advertising and marketing agencies, her client group included the likes of: Coca-Cola, Sheraton Hotels, TAG Heuer, Cathay Pacific and Colliers Jardine.
On return to Europe, she went on to work with McCann as business director for Boots Health Care (Strepsils), MasterCard, Marriot Hotels, Avis, Tourism Ireland, Gateway Computers and PwC. She then came back to Asia (again with McCann) for a second time to run the Intel account across 13 markets in the region.
In the last decade, the focus of Her work has been brand and marketing consultancy for a combination of well-established international groups (Futurebrand, McCann WorldGroup, Interbrand) and smaller boutique consultancies. She considers herself to be 'category neutral' and is equally at home working across complex business-to-business offers as she is with consumer categories. Today, she provides expert consultancy in the areas of brand definition and positioning and helping to take new products and services to market.
She is also a mentor and keynote speaker with a number of London-based business accelerator programs that support founders as they start-up or scale.
