    caroline bird has five collections of poetry published by carcanet. her most recent collection, in these days of prohibition, was shortlisted for the 2017 ts eliot orize. a two time winner of the foyles' young poets award, her first collection looking through letterboxes was published in 2002 when she was 15. she won a major eric gregory award in 2002 & was shortlisted for the geoffrey dearmer prize in 2001 & the dylan thomas prize in 2008 & 2010. she was one of the five official poets at the 2012 london olympics.

    amy leon performs frequently all over new york & has toured numerous times across the uk performing in collaboration with the bbc, roundhouse, amnesty int'l & more. an alumna of the nuyorican slam team, she fuses music & poetry thru powerfully transparent performances focusing on social inequalities & celebrating love, blackness, & what it means to be woman. she’s the author of two collections of poetry: the water under the bridge & mouth full of concrete & also just released her debut album something melancholy available now on all listening platforms!

    jamal mehmood's a writer & poet. winner of poetry rivals in 2016, he’s had work featured in media diversified, litro magazine & bbc asian network. his debut poetry collection’s out now thru burning eye books. his essay 'language, life & love' was published in 'from the lines of dissent' by outspoken press.
