    Description

Join one of Europe's most prominent young thinkers, historian Rutger Bregman, in conversation with Bookomi's Richard Kilgariff.

The two will be discusssing the ideas outlined in Breman's book Utopia for Realists, which overturns existing notions about how to run society with radical yet wholly practical ideas for a happier, healthier, wealthier world.

From Universal Basic Income to a 15-hour working week - the only way to tackle the ‘second machine age’- Bregman piles up the evidence for win-win solutions to the growing problems of inequality and unhappiness to be found in societies across the globe.

Rutger Bregman is one of Europe’s most prominent young thinkers. At just 28, he has already published three books on history, philosophy and economics. His History of Progress won the Belgian Liberales prize for best non-fiction book in 2013 and he has twice been nominated for the prestigious European Press Prize for his journalism at the crowd-funded news site De Correspondent https://thecorrespondent.com/utopia-for-realists/

Richard Kilgarriff is the business book columnist for Harper's Bazaar and the curator of the Bookomi subscription service - for leaders who are readers at work: www.bookomi.com
