Description

Google uses a unique productivity process to develop new ideas called Sprint. The method is now available in book form and two of the people who wrote it are coming to Second Home to share it with you.

Join Bookomi's Richard Kilgarriff as he introduces Google Ventures' Jake Knapp and John Zeratsky for a live tour of the book that Eric Ries says is a "must read for entrepreneurs of all stripes.”

They'll also be discussing Jake and John's personal Superknowledge - the books influencing their past, present and future thinking.

Jake created the Google Ventures sprint process and has run more than a hundred sprints with startups such as 23andme, Slack, Nest, and Foundation Medicine. Previously, Jake worked at Google, leading sprints for everything from Gmail to Google X. He is currently among the world’s tallest designers.

John has designed mobile apps, medical reports, and a daily newspaper (among other things). Before joining Google Ventures, he was a design lead at YouTube and an early employee of FeedBurner, which Google acquired in 2007. John writes about design and productivity for Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, and Wired.

About Richard Kilgarriff

Richard founded Bookomi in 2012 and has since produced and hosted over 200 book events with some of the world's most influential business leaders, including Paypal founder Peter Thiel, Pixar founder Ed Catmull and Twitter founder Biz Stone. His latest project Superknowledge looks at the past, present and future through a literary lens
