A former journalist with a net worth of $2.8billion, Sir Michael Moritz wrote an influential biography of Steve Jobs in 1984, then turned to investing in some of Silicon Valley's best-known public companies. He made legendary bets on the likes of Google, Paypal and Yahoo, and his more recent high-profile investments include Instacart, Klarna and Stripe.
