In Italian
From last month, “Book O’Clock” — the book club for children aged 4 to 11 and their families, promoted by the Italian Cultural Institute in London in collaboration with children’s and YA author Gloria Danili and SIAL school — has moved from its historic home in Holland Park to the Children’s Room of the wonderful Victoria Library (just a few minutes from Victoria train station), and it now takes place on Saturday afternoons (instead of Sundays).
To mark this transition, Book O’Clock now proudly features a brand-new logo created by Mirco Maselli (aka M V Maselli, former artist for Lupo Alberto, and author of books, comics and graphic novels).
At the next appointment on April 25th, Gloria Danili is waiting for you for a dive into an important page of Italian history – the Resistance – and a leap into the colors of our flag! Keeping us company will be the vibrant picture book “Di che colore è la libertà” (“What Color Is Freedom?”) written by Roberto Piumini and illustrated by Giovanni Manna for Mondadori.
