Boatshows are DIY nights of music and food plus a radio show - a platform for alt-rock, folk, & electronic musicians. This month as it's on Thursday 17th May - the first night of the Great Escape (which we are not affiliated with, by the way), we will have an extended night of music featuring POG, Hashtag, Tim Boat, Rare Devices, Matt Kos plus food by Finn.

"Pog has this amazing wit that combines great finesse and charm with the subtletly of an exploding tank." — Pain by Numbers Magazine
POG return to BOATSHOW after they sold out the event last October. They're are a folk/punk band that set tales of everyday failure to disarmingly catchy acoustic soundtracks with an interesting line up of instruments. On around 8:30 pm. POG are great. We all really like them, that's why they're back. More info on their website: www.pogband.co.uk
These guys play full on punky rock n roll and that’s that. Playing songs from their forthcoming album. On around 9:20. Hear them here: http://www.soundcloud.com/hashtagbandbrighton
Tim Boat plays strange & soulful post-rock songs solo on electric guitar and a looper pedal.
"His songs are full of revenge, escape, mystery and you won’t regret exploring their depths." Brighton Music Blog. He will be playing songs from his new EP, released at the end of Feb, and selling coloured vinyl-type CDs on the night. On at 7:20pm. https://soundcloud.com/timboat
