Blue in Green featuring the Marco Punzi Quartet

Nov 06 2019 19:30 - 22:30

Blue in Green is a monthly night of live jazz in East London where the audience is invited to draw during the performances. Our guest in November will be guitarist Marco Punzi with his quartet.

After the release of the debut album “Snow” by his Italian collective Eazy Quartet, Marco decided to put together his own quartet and compose songs informed by the knowledge he gained during his time at the Guildhall School of Music, as well as his Italian heritage. The result is a mixture of high-energy, exciting music, meditative ballads and the spice of odd time signatures.

Marco Punzi - Guitar
Ed Rice - Piano
Johnny Wickham - Upright and Electric Bass
Theo Guttenplan - Drums

Support will be provided by Alex Chalstrey and friends. Doors at 7:30, music at 8. £5 adv tickets, £8 otd.
