Blow Up continues its Friday residency in Soho at the legendary St Moritz Club, and this week THE CLANG GROUP (feat. Clive Langer & legendary Roxy Music saxophonist Andy Mackay) will be performing live.
The basement club is one of the last 'original' venues in the West End, virtually unchanged since the 60s, and Blow Up kicked off it's new Friday night residency here in January.
Expect to hear classic tracks from both Blow Up's past and present: from Brit Pop era favourites (the scene which the club helped kick-start way back in 1993 in Camden Town) to the current new Pop & indie stylists putting the art back into pop colliding with 60's Soul, Beat, Garage, Funk, Ska, Swinging Soundtracks, Hammond Heavy Jazz, Easy Listening & Ye-Ye! Brit Pop, Glam & Post Punk / New Wave will all be present and correct.

After 35 years of producing other people's discs for other dreamers (including Elvis Costello, Madness, Morrissey, Dexy's Midnight Runners, The Teardrop Explodes and most recently his new label mates The Amazing Snakeheads) it's about time he got back to what he loved best.
So...he's only gone and done it, started a rock and roll band, The Clang Group, with the legendary Roxy Music saxophonist Andy Mackay.
The Sensational Deaf School, Clive's original band, have had a remarkable renaissance in the last few years, rejuvenating Clive's love of playing his old guitar, with astonishing aplomb on this remarkable EP. Twang Twang Twang!! Electric Twang Ooooh eeeh ooohy!! Clang Bangg Wallop! What a Picture!
