Description
After the unprecedented success of Sheroes in March, Lon-art is back at Ugly Duck to bring BLACK SHEROES MONTH. This their fourth social exhibition will give continuity to Sheroes - Lon-art’s most recent and biggest project to date - now with a focus on heroines within the black community.
BLACK SHEROES MONTH is a collaborative project that uses creative expression to give a voice to and turn our eyes towards silenced and overlooked black heroines – sheroes – throughout herstory, and offer inspiring female role models for us all.
