    Schedule change: Door will open at 7.30pm. Roshi featuring Pars Radio at 8pm. Bishi will perform at 9pm.

    A meditation on the wind for voice, sitar, electronics and wind harp from BISHI, "one of the hottest talents in the UK today" with Neil Kaczor and visuals from Noriko Okaku.

    Biography

    BISHI is established as a recording artist, composer and performer with a focus on inter-disciplinary work, "Albion Voice" recently showing at QEH, and also has a special interest in sacred music and space.

    For this performance Roshi and Graham present a short semi-improvised piece which brings together notions of freedom as expressed in the motions of the wind harp and through Forough Farrokhzad's poem 'Bad Maar O Khayad Boord' (The wind Will Take Us). www.roshi.biz

    About Roshi

    Roshi featuring Pars Radio showcase the beautiful voice, original songs and unusual interpretations of Iranian material of Roshi Nasehi and features electro-percussionist/producer Graham Dids (Gagarin, Nico, John Cale, Pere Ubu). They have released several records, receiving significant airplay, among others, BBC Radio 3, 6 Music, RTE, and widespread acclaim, including, The Independent, The Quietus, Q, DJ Magazine, PRS M Magazine and twice Experimental Record of the Month in Mixmag who described Roshi as "one of the most singular voices working at the moment". Roshi has also received many commissions including from, BBC Radio 3, So & So Circus Theatre, Birds Eye View for the Southbank 2012 WOW Festival and by the British Council to create and present public sound art in Kuwait in May 2014.
