As day turns into night, Bestival at Goldsmiths will become a beguiling wonderland of colour and sound. Spiriting the essence of Bestival’s after dark adventures into the heart of London, Goldsmith’s awe-inspiring Great Hall will become the focus for the first half of the evening, with music from PureGold artist ‘Nocturne’ to begin the festivities. Goldsmiths Popular Music graduate Rosie Lowe will kick things up a notch with a slice of androgynous soul. Backed by an all-female band, Rosie’s sultry, jazz-infused sonic adventuring has gained universal critical acclaim and her appearance at Bestival at Goldsmiths could be your last chance to catch her in intimate surrounds. Multiple Mercury Prize nominee, Ghostpoet AKA Obaro Ejimiwe, will headline the Great Hall action with his idiosyncratic flow. His most recent album Shedding Skin cemented Ghostpoet’s standing as one of the UK music scene’s most singular voices. A veteran of Bestival events, he never fails to mesmerise a crowd and remains utterly compelling.
