Description
Beside The Bothy Fire
In the dark depths of a remote Highland glen two men meet in a bothy. They swap stories, drink whisky and tell tall tales before the bothy fire. At first all is merriment but as time progresses one of them reveals a sinister secret. John Burns, writer and actor and Bob Pegg, storyteller and musician, lead the audience in a riot of songs, stories, poems and laughter about the Highland hills, the men who walk them and the creatures that inhabit them.
Please note there are two performances: Thursday 3rd December 7.30pm and Friday 4th December at 1pm
The Drouthy Cobbler is very pleased to welcome back performers John Burns and Bob Pegg in a specially devised show for the winter. Both have performed solo shows as part of the Playpieces Lunchtime season at The Drouthy Cobbler and John Burns most recently brought Crowley: A Passion for Evil to the venue.
