Ben Moor has been producing oddball storytelling shows for over 30 years. He is the creator of Elastic Planet and Undone for BBC Radio, and has appeared in Knowing Me, Knowing You, The IT Crowd, The Count of Monte Cristo and The Queen’s Gambit.

The Tom Thumb Theatre: A New Era of Magic by the Sea
Nestled in the heart of Cliftonville, Margate, the Tom Thumb Theatre has long been a beloved artistic gem by the sea. Originally built as a Victorian coach house, it was transformed in 1984 into one of the smallest theatres in the world — a curious and captivating blend of Japanese and Alpine architecture, with velvet seats, flocked wallpaper, and an atmosphere unlike anywhere else.
Now under the creative direction of Allyson Morgan Jones, the Tom Thumb is entering an exciting new chapter, bringing bold, imaginative programming to this beautifully intimate space. Alongside its roots in theatre, comedy, music, cabaret, poetry and film, the theatre is expanding its offering with immersive events, unique experiences, and bespoke private hires, all while continuing to champion emerging voices and experimental work.
