**NEW RELEASE WORKSHOP** Master the art of modern calligraphy AND brush lettering! With Anneka Slatter - Lettered by Annie.
In this beginners workshop you’ll learn the skills required to start creating beautiful hand lettering (suitable for ages 14yrs+).
During the 2.5 hours you will get familiar with a dip pen and ink, practice warm up strokes and letter drills. Once you are comfortable with your pen we will move on to joining strokes to create letter forms and then letters to create quotes, names or whatever takes your fancy.
The cost of the class includes a calligraphy starter kit containing practise worksheets, a nib, nib holder and ink - everything you need to get started and continue with your practise.
Throughout the class Anneka will be on hand to give help and guidance where needed.
By the end of the workshop, you will have learnt:
1. How to correctly hold and use your dip pen
2. Understand how the pen works and how the ink flows
3. Calligraphy do’s and don’t
4. How form letters and join them to create words and phrases
Workshop Fee - £40 and includes refreshments and calligraphy starter kit. Note, to reduce online booking fees we will now only take a non-refundable deposit of £12 + bkg fee at time of booking. The final balance is payable on the day of the event - cash or card payments are accepted.
Anneka works as a freelance Calligrapher, working on Weddings, live events for brands such as Jo Malone and running workshops in Bedfordshire. Anneka has been practising calligraphy for3 years.

**Polite notice for attendees - there is no parking on-site, instead we encourage you to use the free car park (Saturday & Sunday only) behind Aragon Housing Association - accessed via Chandos Road & Katherine’s Gardens, Waitrose 3-hr bays, the new Pay & Display next to Costa Coffee (£1 p/hr & closest to us!) or find suitable on-road parking nearby.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?
The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
