Description
To celebrate the start of London Beer City week, the Beer Hive in Brixton is holding a party, with beer and food from noon, and jazz in the evening. A selection of exclusive beers will be available, including Cowgirl American Pale Ale from Clarkshaws Brewery and the launch of London Beer Lab’s Simcoe and Citra Black IPA. Mangia, Mangia, the genuine Italian supper club, will be providing a menu of snacks and treats perfectly paired with beer.
About Blue, a Camberwell based jazz and blues trio, will be playing in the evening, bringing you vintage sounds from the great American songbook, from the Blue Note to Broadway. Led by the smoky vocals of Anna Ukairo, this guitar and bass driven trio play swing, ballads, blues and Bossa Nova – timeless classics from the golden age of jazz.
Visit the brewery as part of the London Beer City South London Brewery Treasure Hunt for a chance to win beer and brewery merchandise.

The Beer Hive is a collaboration between Clarkshaws Brewery and London Beer Lab, and will expand to include other breweries in the coming months, creating a cooperative of microbreweries and letting visitors taste the work of different breweries all on one site.
The taproom at the Beer Hive is open weekly on Saturday afternoons, 12-8pm.
Clarkshaws is a small independent microbrewery in Brixton producing contemporary takes on classic British beer styles. We use only ingredients sourced from the UK, supporting local producers and reducing the 'beer miles' of all our products. Our process is designed to be vegetarian and we are London's first micro to produce all Vegetarian Society accredited products. Further information: www.clarkshaws.co.uk
London Beer Lab was established in 2012 to offer brewing workshops to craft beer enthusiasts in London. Since inception, thousands have got to grips with mashing, sparging and hopping at our premises in Brixton. Experimentation has always been high up on the list of priorities and led to a flurry of original brews drawing inspiration from cutting-edge brewing techniques as well as traditional and sometimes forgotten methods. As the UK's first open source brewery our recipes are published online for others to recreate and experiment with. Further information: http://londonbeerlab.com/
Mangia, Mangia! (Eat, Eat!) Is a creative culinary collaboration between Capo Caccia Fine Foods and Pastificio Mansi. Capo Caccia’s trader Antonio finds the freshest cheese and charcuterie from the best artisans in Sardinia and makes it available to us locally via the London Market scene. Emanuela from Pastificio Mansi crafts fresh handmade pasta right on the spot, and runs pasta workshops where you can fill Ravioli with a variety of mouth-watering fillings such as Gorgonzola and Pear. With the synergy of these two independent companies, the two sides of the dinner table have combined to showcase their regional recipes and original take on traditional Italian cuisine. Mangia, Mangia organizes pop up restaurants, events and parties in London creating a genuine Italian homely vibe to enjoy with friends and family whilst experiencing some of the greatest dishes brought to you from all over Italy. Mangia, Mangia is also a SE London Food Hub in East Dulwich with a weekly opening and Sunday events with Street food, beers and live music. Further information: https://www.facebook.com/
