Get involved in the #BeCreative movement and support a fantastic cause this Christmas at "London's first Happy Cafe".
At mayamada we passionately believe in the power of creativity to make our world a more productive, engaging, and fun place to be. That belief is the motivation behind the launch of our annual charity drive.
We started this campaign to inspire a positive creative spirit in the next generation, while at the same time contributing to the efforts of amazing organisations already making a difference today.
On Tuesday 15th of December, the Canvas Cafe will be host to our inaugural #BeCreative fundraising event. The campaign is in aid of 3 charities focused supporting young people: MyBnk, Aid For Japan and Great Ormond Street Hospital.
We will raffle a one of a kind collection of artwork to cap our fundraising drive to raise money for these great causes. The money raised will be split between the 3 charities. You can be safe in the knowledge that your generosity is creating a real impact for young people in the UK and Japan.
With the help of InnerI we have gathered artwork from 24 professional and aspiring artists into a single notebook. The artists from all over the UK have made this a one of a kind collection of art.
The book is truly an amazing collaborative effort. Each page expresses an artist's view of creativity and the quality and variety of work has blown us away.
So join us for this celebration of creativity and charitable giving and for the chance to win the notebook filled with fantastic art.
On arrival to the Canvas Cafe you'll be greeted to a canapé of festive treats provided by the Canvas Cafe's own in house chef. Between bites you can also view the creative thoughts of those who have previously visited the Shoreditch venue.
The cafe is famed for encouraging customers to share their thoughts by literally writing them on the walls. You won't get in trouble, promise!
You'll able able to join the fun and share your thoughts on creativity by getting involved in our own creative canvas on the night.
Share what creativity means to you and be immortalised in our photo gallery from this, the very first event and start of a new creative movement!
One lucky winner will go home with this fantastic collection of artwork at the end of the night. The collection of art will be the main prize in the grand raffle. Remember, all proceeds will be split between the 3 charities so be sure to give generously!
