Round three of London's newest Blues, Rockabilly & Rock'n'Roll club returns to GROW in Hackney Wick to kick start the bank holiday! ..and introduce this month's special guest...

JONNY HALIFAX & THE HOWLING TRUTH

Hackney bluesman Johnny Halifax has been cutting highly acclaimed albums for a few years now as the Howling Truth and Honkyfinger; touring them around Europe and the U.S. - in between editing the spools and designing the artwork for Julian Temple films including 'The Ecstasy of Wilko Johndon'.
He's clearly utterly steeped in the blues, ladies and gents, and therefore a perfect guest for BBB - where, with his trademark lapsteel guitar, pounding drums and slide, he will create for us an unholy amalgam of minimalistic industrial noise crossed with acid blues and psychedelic punk. Black Sabbath re-tooling the Mississippi Delta in a deserted Black Country steelworks, with Hammer horror cinematography!
