From May to July, Bear Funny Comedy helps acts preparing for the World's largest Arts Festival, the Edinburgh Fringe, by offering its show to host 'Work in Progress'. You can see two shows, from professional acts that could be star names, up and coming comedians that we rate without the need to visit Scotland!
We retain our £5 and £10 pizza deal pricing and finish by 10.30pm, perfect for a school night. The setting is the Finsbury's lovely live room, so you can also enjoy cocktails, craft beers and handmade pizzas.

I’ll stare down the world’s most disturbing kids animation, smart forks and mattresses, virtual bedtimes, robosex, gay cakes, international hummus day and the European light bulb directive. Fern Brady: Suffer, Fools!
Following two shows that sold out through word of mouth alone, Scottish comedian Fern is back for another Scottish hour. Scottish. As seen on English comedian Russell Howard's Stand Up Central, English comedian Stewart Lee's Alternative Comedy Experience and Viceland's new series Brexit Stage Left. God, I hope I can cry over a dead relative or come across as sincere this year. As heard on BBC Radio 4's State of the Nations and BBC Scotland's Breaking the News. 'An astounding hour' ***** (List). We are unable to offer refunds if you have specifically come to see one act on the bill, who does not perform come the close of the event.
