Every Wednesday at Kansas Smitty's, the ‘Basement Tapes’ mix and match members of the Kansas Smitty’s House Band with musicians from around London and further afield to create once-in-a-lifetime intimate concerts. Sit down with a drink, and get ready to watch something original unfold in front of you.
Smitty’s cofounder, Giacomo Smith, met Limberger in America and after hearing his music Giacomo made him promise to play in the venue next time he was in the UK. Now that time has come, and we are so excited for this virtuoso of the gypsy music scene to grace the Smitty’s basement.
Tcha was born into a prominent family of Manouche Belgian musicians, and growing up to the sounds of Django Reinhardt inspired him to dedicate his life to traditional forms of music. His incredible virtuosity is matched by his ability to show audiences into his soul.
Doors at 8pm, show 8.30 to 10.30 with an intermission.
