Every Wednesday at Kansas Smitty's, the ‘Basement Tapes’ mix and match members of the Kansas Smitty’s House Band with musicians from around London and further afield to create once-in-a-lifetime intimate concerts.
These nights are centred around originality. Expect to see new material written and rehearsed at the bar that week by groups curated specifically for the night.
Doors at 8pm, show 8.30 to 10.30 with an intermission.
On June 10th we will feature Giacomo Smith and Pete Horsfall in a set of all new material. Giacomo and Pete will be joined by Smitty's regulars Joe Downard (bass) and Will Arnold Foster (guitar). Tonight is all about New Orleans small-group groove.
