Mussorgsky's amazing Pictures at an Exhibition takes us through pictures painted by a friend of his, each piece a different picture. The pictures are connected by an awesome Promenade piece. Mussorgsky believed that music must reflect true life, so here we have very realistic pieces ranging from Gnomes to an Old Castle, from Baba Yaga, the famous Russian witch to the Unhatched chickens. Children will be helping to create these pictures with costumes, dance, drama and percussion for the promenades......
