Fund Raising Event
Australia has been in our thoughts a lot over the past month due to the devastating bush fires that have ravaged incomprehensibly large areas of the country. We hadn't planned to have an Aussie focused tasting til later in the year, but it now seems appropriate to shine a light on wines from some of the regions that have been badly hit by fires and in particular some of the producers who have been worst affected. Specifically, we want to show support for the Adelaide Hills Wine Region, and for growers such as Vinteloper who lost their entire vineyard and winery on the 20th of December.
We will be donating £2.50 from every ticket sold and rather than offering the customary 10% retail discount on bottles. We will also donate 10% on all wines sold from the tasting to the Adelaide Hills Wine Region Fire Appeal.
We will be pouring five fantastic wines from Adelaide Hills, Victoria and New South Wales. And of course not forgetting the obligatory Neal's Yard cheeses and Black Hand charcuterie to accompany.
