Description

Join The Sunday Boys as we take to the (digital) stage in this FREE special lockdown gig!

You just can’t keep a good choir down. The Sunday Boys may be temporarily confined to quarters, but we’ve been working hard on putting together this exciting, digital gig packed full of Sunday Boy classics. The gig will include a  brand spanking new composition from our Artistic Director, Michael Betteridge, exploring the special friendships that can occur between women and gay men, with thoughtful and touching lyrics from Rebecca Hurst that were inspired through workshops between The Sunday Boys and Meraki choir. We’ll  also be featuring a new lockdown arrangement of I Want to Break Free featuring soloists and instrumentals from within the choir. This gig is sure to offer plenty of feel good vibes!

Expect appearances from special guests as The Sunday Boys serenade you with all they have during this lockdown gig. So make a date with The Sunday Boys by joining us on the day on YouTube. Don’t forget to subscribe to our channel!

Put your feet up, grab your favourite tipple and join The Sunday Boys as they embark on their first ever fully digital performance.

The Sunday Boys are an unauditioned, inclusive choir for gay men and their allies that rehearse on Sunday evenings. We sing the songs together that we love as individuals.  We come together to sing, and in doing so we meet new people, build great friendships and deliver an exciting programme of gigs throughout the year.

Join the performance on our Youtube Page: youtube.com/thesundayboys

Register here to be reminded on the day and to recieve your free digital programme!

Organiser

The Sunday Boys was started by Michael Betteridge in January 2016 to give Manchester LGBTQ+ low voices in the city to socialise and learn to sing.

The Sunday Boys is open to any one that has a low voice and wants to sing in an inclusive and friendly environment.

FAQ

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. Alternatively, you can always find your tickets in your Billetto account that you can access in the browsers or the dedicated Billetto app. For more help with this, read here.

  • I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?

The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you. To get in touch with the event organiser, simply reply to your order confirmation email or use the "Contact organiser" form on the organiser's profile. For more help with this, read here.

  • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

  • Where do I find a link to an online event?

Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event. You might also want to read the event description on Billetto where an event organiser should describe how to join the event online. For more information on this, read here.

  • What is refund protection and why would I need it?

Refund Protection provides you with the assurance that if unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances interfere with your ability to attend an event you can claim a refund. For more information on this, read here.
