With ARTA now underway, our programme has been designed so that it reflects transparency be competitive for the best restaurant and takeaway to win. ARTA asked the public to vote for their favourite restaurant or business and see them awarded on the 30th of September at our gala award event held at the 02 Intercontinental in London.

ARTA’s initial voting opened on Wednesday 10th of January and asks members of the public to decide on what they think is the best curry house. This is done by capturing the unique thoughts of consumers up and down the country, and it was a great chance for anyone to step up and support their favourite locally-owned store and contribute to the scoring and assessment of the nominee. The shortlist from the nominations has been announced and a series of regional events are poised to take place at academic institutions throughout the UK – including England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. ARTA ends with a gala dinner event that sees our best of regional with accolades being given to each regional winner, and the individual chefs and companies that have truly distinguished themselves.

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

    The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.   • I wish to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. What should I do?

    The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.   • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

    If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

    Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event.
