If you're a fan of the Label Deep Heads, or just generally into Deeper, Jazzy instrumental music, then chances are your ears have found their way to Ash Walker's portfolio of sounds.
His album "Augmented 7th" that was out at the end of 2015 received some serious attention from an array of different DJ's & Publications that include Gilles Peterson, Gideon Coe, Don Letts & Tom Ravenscroft all from 6Music, XLR8R, Clash Mag, Okay Player and Zeb Samuels to name a few highlights.
His debut DJ set is eagerly anticipated from his fan base & is set to be a Road Block at the legendary Cargo Club, Old Street, London- on the 5th of May 2016!
Ash will be providing the Dance Floor with familiar beats & melodies heard on his debut album, but fans will also have a chance to listen exclusively to Ash Walker’s new music he has been writing for his 2nd album that is set for release, late 2016. Ash will also be mixing up his own music with some personal favourites that should include the likes of Jamie XX, The Internet & Charles Bradley, as well as rare Funk & Soul 7inch records from his archive of sounds.
Also DJing on the night is Label boss Zeb Samuels who will be blessing the sound system with an array of Deep Heads infused sounds that include the likes of Bonobo, Anderson. Paak, The Roots and RJD2 to name some highlights.
Expect Trip-Hop beats, driving, sub low frequencies, jazzy melodies and infectious vibrations that ignite your soul.Organiser
