    Welcome to ARTROOMS2015!

This January, London will be welcoming an innovative concept of art exhibition which will open its doors to the public for the first time between the 24th-26th January, offering independent artists the opportunity to exhibit their artworks in the intimate dimension of luxury hotel rooms at the Meliá White House Hotel. In addition, ARTROOMS2015 will feature five independent galleries, such as Reissue Korea and The Cult House which are two upcoming art hubs committed to promoting independent artists.

Art buyers will have more of a reason to show up in London this month as two important events will dress the capital with contemporary art during the same week.

One of these is the established well known London Art Fair, amongst the UK's leading exhibitions within the industry at its 27th edition. ARTROOMS2015 is making its debut this January, which is set to take place over a three-day period after the VIP preview on the 23rd , this is a very exciting time for contemporary art in London.

According to its organisers – Le Dame Art Gallery and Triumph UK – the new art fair has been conceived around the importance of the visitor's experience. The unique setting of a room becomes a pioneering way to access art, shortening the distance between artists, curators and visitors. The fair will also include other projects, such as a special section dedicated to South East Asian Arts (TBC), and an exceptional programme of events and talks, private tours and networking events that will enrich the overall experience.

In order to assure an impeccable first edition of the fair, the artworks on show are being carefully selected by a Committee and an Arts Advisory Board. Among its members there are Roberta Cremoncini, Director at the Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art, Greta Scacchi, actress and art dealer, Ian Rosenfeld, Curator and Director at Rosenfeld Porcini Gallery and Arturo Galansino, Exhibition Curator at the Royal Academy of Art.

Amongst the functional art section are the amazing jewels designed by David Houston Semenza for Assor Gioielli, beautiful ceramic creations by Bridget Macklin, lamps by Liliana Mascio, textile printing by Karina Castorani Gosteva and finally Joy Trpkovic who specialises in hand built porcelains and painting. She has been elected a Fellow of the Society of Designer Craftsmen.

The independent artists section is definitely where you will find the widest variety of artists and work. Starting with the stunning paintings that will be displayed, artists such as Anna Ravliuc, Mine Zabci, Kos Cos, Deepa Khanna Sobti, Margherita Bertussi, Carolina Khouri, Alice White, Kriss Guenzati Dubini, Sonya Radan, Jean-Luc Almond, Abigail Burt, Deborah Pearce, Charlotte Esposito, Enzo Fabbiano, Pato Bosich, Luca Indraccolo, Otogonbayar Tsogt, Leandro Lottici, Gino Donvito, Sarka Darton, Renata Fernandez, Mauro Molle, Maite Montet, Ricardo Pedrotti, Massimo Chioccia & Olga Tsarkova will feature at the event. Painters who have been recognised with awards who's work will also appear at the gallery will be Wendy Yeo who has worked in various public collections held at the American Petroleum Institute, Washington, DC, Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, The British Library, London, Elsevier Hoboken, NJ and Hong Kong City Hall. Nataniel Moine has also been recognised for his talents and was the award winner of the National Museum For Modern Art painting prize, the national Fund for Arts and Culture, and won the emerging artists competition. Gaspare Manos created a sculpture which was presented to John Woo as a prize for his work at the OPEN 13 Awards in Venice as well as representing Italy at the OPEN 13 International exhibition of sculptures and installations 2010. Manos also was present and featured at the Urban Rhapsody Exhibition at the Boulakia Gallery in Paris. Rafal Zawistowski in 2012 exhibited his work as a solo artist, Charles Saatchi brought the entire collection before the private viewing. Finally, Maarten Van Der Bos who won Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2012 and 2013. Van Der Bos also achieved Ron Mandos Young blood Award in 2011.

To add to this established and upcoming talent, there will be a selection of sculptors who will also have their work at the event available for the public to view. These include Ricky Nerreter, Lorenzo Belenguer, Richard Niman, Giorgio Di Palma, Rosa Migliardi, Kevin Dagg and Stanislav Geissler. Noted for his achievements is Demetrio Piccoli who was awarded first prize in The Young Artists Competition and was selected for the 90th Anniversary of Turkish Republic Competition and finally was selected also for The International Competition in Florence. Piccoli's work will also be present at ARTROOMS2015.

Also on show, artists who see the world through a lens' work like Lichena Bertinato and Kevin Vucic Shepherd will also be at the function. Noted for her amazing photography is Susana Lopez Fernandez who was a finalist in several art competitions such as the XV painting, II Painting Biennial Prize Torres and finally the EXPLUM. Joe Reddy is also a very talented young upcoming artist who shone at the 17th open art exhibition, winning not one but two prestigious awards - The Piran Strange award for Young Artists and Young Photographers award.

Amongst the artists we also have an architect and designer Mauro Dell'Orco.

We have the pleasure to present several prominent galleries which are committed to promoting their artists. Le Dame Art Gallery is the only London's art gallery that exclusively deals with Italian contemporary artists such as Maupal, Paolo Cenedese, Franco Nonnis, Riccardo Girardi and Fabio Mariani. Another gallery with an Italian theme, is the Accorsi Gallery which unites great artists like Maxo della Rocca, Massimo Cirio, Micaela Calliero and Maria Trasmondi. London-based Amstel Art Gallery works with both Italian and international pop artists. Among them we can find Giuliano Grittini, Willow, Chad Powell, Marco Lodola and Paolo Gaveglia. Emerging Korean artists like Sung-ah Jun, Seung-yoon Choi, Mi-kyung Kim, Sang-Sik Hong, Dean Shim and Sangkwon Lee have found in Reissue Korea a revolutionary system that strongly believes in their work. Similarly, The Cult House is a cultural hub where emerging artists such as Alice White and Amber-Lauren are able to cultivate their talent. One of the principal aims of ARTROOMS2015 is to create momentum with projects like Artshift, curated by Rusen Aktas, which will display the artistic creations of four Turkish artists Didem Erbas, Merve Unsal, Eser Epozdemir and Ceren Bulut. Also from Turkey, we are pleased to present Vehbi Koca's art.

The first edition of ARTROOMS 2015 can count on relevant partnerships that helped to create a dense network of art dealers, artists and visitors, offering the opportunity to showcase emerging talents.

ARTROOMS 2015 has already gathered an impressive group of partners, such as the Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art as Museum Partner, State, the Wall Street International, Lazagne Magazine, Frattura Scomposta, Art Style Magazine and BCA Media among Media Partners. The Italian Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the UK, in Vietnam and Brazil together with the British Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic and Macedonia stands among Official Partners. Mr Alessandro Belluzzo from Belluzzo & Partners LLP will be the speaker at the "Art planning estates" conference organized on Monday 26th January at 11am. Finally, ARTROOMS2015 would like to thank The Ashdown Academy and Brownhill Insurance Group for incredible support.

The fair will prove to be a great opportunity to raise funds for its Charity Partner Bow Arts Trust, one of London's leading organisations to support artists. During the Gala Dinner there will be an auction with pieces of art being donated by exhibiting artists. Also performing during the Gala Dinner, will be Amber-Lauren, who will create an artwork which will then be auctioned and available for guests to purchase. All proceedings will be completely allocated to Bow Arts Trust.

    • The organisers estimate over 4,000 visitors, tickets are already on sale and can be purchased on the fair's official website. Ticket costs vary from £15 for concession and £20 for the daily ticket. Entrance to the art fair will be complimentary for those guests staying at the LEVEL at Meliá White House.
