Description

The historic Burton Constable Hall & Grounds will be hosting a one-day

event and will be tutored by a local award winning artist; Gail E. Hurst.

With a focus on sketching, drawing, painting, Gail specialises in working with

both total beginners and the more experienced artist.

All materials are provided.

The workshop consists of a morning session commencing at 10am. Weather
permitting this may include a walk around the grounds for inspiration,
discussion and a tutorial. A break for lunch at 12pm, then back indoors for
an understanding of how to start and develop your own painting vocabulary,
composition, experimentation, decision making, pick up new tricks and
network with other creatives, all whilst having fun.
The Stables Cafe is open for snacks, lunches etc. alternatively you may bring
your own packed lunch. A plentiful supply of tea and coffee is included.
The work shop is open to adults 16+ regardless of experience. Beginners are
welcome. Wheelchair accessible.

  • I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?

    The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.     The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.   • I have registered on the waiting list, what happens now?

    If more tickets become available you will be notified (by email) amongst others who have joined the list. Purchasing is on a first-come first-serve basis. For more information, read here.

  • Where do I find a link to an online event?

    Check your order confirmation page or order confirmation email. Usually, the organiser of the event provides the details in the order confirmation email or they might send you a follow-up email with a link to their online event.
