Art and Mindfulness - Discover how expressive art practice can enhance your wellbeing.
Engaging in creativity has long been proven to enhance wellbeing and help with stress, depression and anxiety. In today's busy world we often don't give ourselves time to relax, unwind or be creative.
This 5 week course will help you begin a regular mindful art practice. You don't have to be 'good at art' to do this course. You will be guided through some simple meditations and mindful and expressive art practice which will help you achieve 'creative flow'. (Which is the mindful part of the art practice).
The atmosphere will be relaxed and peaceful with gentle music playing. You will be in a supportive and peaceful environment. Tea, coffee and light refreshment will be included. Art materials will be provided but you are also welcome to bring your own.
