As they grapple with potential debt mountains that could be incurred by playing SXSW Festival, the band announces a show at SHAPES Hackney, in a likely futile attempt to bleed money out of their pathetically broke friends and nearby community. They know it's not a good cause...
But with broad support from London's rising tide including live sets from PROM, Puffer, DJ sets from Skinny Girl Diet & Fat White Family - one of whose membersAdam Harmer will also perform solo under the banner One-Man Destruction Show - and no doubt signature mayhem from Arrows themselves, it is set to be a memorable sendoff.
With self-produced debut album "Everything's Fucked" hitting its mark (8/10 Line of Best Fit, 10/10 Whispering & Hollering etc), and a blistering live energy which saw a smash show at End Of The Road Festival, the band have just been announced as one of PRSF's newest Momentum Artists. The award comes with a pledge to support their 2nd album, to be produced & mastered by members of Grinderman & Shellac, and plotted for releaseOctober 2015 .
With a double showcase invitation from SXSW Festival in Texas, the SHAPES Hackney show is a chance to hear the band unveil material from their upcoming album, whilst helping their ship set sail to America...
