The third instalment of ARIEL 2.0, this event brings together Hanne Lippard [Berlin], Nora Turato [Amsterdam] (who will be performing with sculpture by Nicholas Riis) and Dylan Spencer-Davidson [London].Between the rap delivery and patchwork style of Turato, the music-driven lecture of Spencer-Davidson to the visual-performative texts of Lippard, all three artists are engaged with the jumbling of language fragments and the performance of content/flow coordination through the medium of the voice.
ARIEL 2.0
Bringing together an international line-up of artists, ARIEL 2.0 is an eclectic programme of vocal articulations. From sung and spoken word to sampled speech and rap, this series of performances recontextualises the assortment of artists in the Bold Tendencies car park auditorium space. In so doing, it embraces the performative voice that is guided by computers, informed by online life and shaped by the forces of the information age.
