All proceeds will go to two great charities working with immigrants here in the UK. Bail for Immigration Detainees (http://www.biduk.org/) are a small but very effective charity which both campaigns for and challenges immigration detention in the UK. The UK is the only country in Europe which detains immigrants indefinitely and often in awful conditions in privately-run detention centres. Project 17 (http://www.project17.org.uk/about-us/) works more with women and children in the UK seeking various types of immigration status, including asylum. Migrant families with children are entitled to certain benefits even when they have irregular immigration status but local authorities often refuse to provide them. The charity does direct outreach to help provide representation in individual cases but also does higher level policy work.
