Angamardhana is a very ancient yogic practice for holistic fitness. It is believed to be a pre-cursor for martial arts, and the name means "Mastery over the Limbs".
Practiced regularly, Angamardhana will improve muscle tone while increasing the flexibility of the body. It is aerobic in nature, that is it also exercises the heart and lungs.
It requires no equipment, and can be practised at home, at no further cost to the practitioner. It is ideal as an indoor exercise, and is a great way to lose weight!
