    Description

An evening of music and art to honour one of Europe's cultural icons, Glasgow's own Alasdair Gray. Music by Emma Pollock, Allan MacDonald, Griogair Labruidh, Brina, Loki, the Matt Seattle Band, and more. Well chosen words in oor mither leid to be spoken by Billy Kay, and Alan Bissett to compere a beautiful evening out.

A percentage of ticket sales will go to fund an Alasdair Gray Musical Scholarship Trust. All tickets to also include a free download of Native Musicians: Songs for Scotland 2, a compilation album of Scottish songs themed, 'Work as if you live in the early days of a better nation'.

Join us on November 29th, the eve of St Andrew's Day, for a brilliant evening featuring the finest in Scottish culture. We'll have Alasdair's 'Sistine Chapel Ceiling for Scotland's working class' beautifully illuminated for the occasion; and we hope that Alasdair will be joining us on the night as our guest of honour.

    For Scotland.
