    Description

Matter is a platform, research studio and consultancy exploring the relationship between materials, ideas and processes. Launching at One Good Deed Today, during the London Design Festival, Matter presents a series of talks, workshops and events.

Living in a Material World is an exhibition taking you on a journey of experiencing materiality through all five senses including talks, events and workshops.

23rd September is the day of Touch and we've got 3 speakers kicking the Festival off.

Designer, artist and keeper of a ‘Biological atelier’, Amy Congdon discusses the science of designing with living matter with Tissue Engineered Textiles.

As a designer Amy is interested in exploring the crossovers between design and science, through a highly experimental and research driven practice. Using speculative design work she investigates the implications of engaging with new technologies, such as biotechnology.
