I was inspired by amateur piano groups in London to set up a similar group for string players to build experience of performing. In these event, adult learners will share in the joy of music by playing for one another (and a few non-playing audience members) in a wholly supportive environment, have fun and derive the benefits of standing up and playing in front of others. String players of all standards, including beginners, are welcome. Bring your accompanist, play an unaccompanied work or come to perform as a preformed duo, trio etc. If you do not have an accompanist, feel free to contact me (Carol, swlondonsg@gmail.com) attaching the piano part and expressly allowing me to pass on your contact number or email in case I am able to put you in touch with a pianist.
Under 18s accompanied by a responsible adult are most welcome. The responsible adult should also purchase a free ticket.
