    Alison Brooks Masterclass

    Alison reveals her studio’s current work from the scale of urban installations such as The Smile for London Design Festival, to a new College Quad in Oxford to major urban residential schemes and one off houses. Integrating sculptural approach to form and space with new techniques and materials, her studio works with a huge range of experts across all engineering disciplines. She will be Joined by key collaborators Andrew Lawrence, Associate Director at Arup and collaborator on The Smile, along with Andy Toohey, Partner at PRICE & MYERS.

    About Alison Brooks

    Alison Brooks, principal and creative director of Alison Brooks Architects, is recognized as one of the leading architects of her generation. She has developed an international reputation since founding her practice in London in 1996. She studied architecture at the University of Waterloo before moving to London in 1988. Since establishing Alison Brooks Architects her architecture has attracted international acclaim for its conceptual rigour, sculptural quality and ingenious detailing. Herapproach, based on research into the specific social, cultural and physical contexts of each project, has led to a portfolio of award-winning architecture encompassing urban design, housing, education and buildings for the arts. She continues to produce architecture of distinct identity, sensitivity to its users and relevance to its place.
