    Description

    ALEXANDER BENNETT’S TERRIFYING SMILE

In 1993, Alexander Bennett won a ‘most beautiful baby’s smile’ competition at Butlins in Skegness. 24 years later, in the absence of any other awards, he’s rounding up his competitors from that day for a rematch. Creator of Hell to Play, ACMS regular and rising cult comic presents an essay on the state of a generation.

    ★★★★ (STAGE) ★★★★★ (ONE4REVIEW)

“Anarchic… touched with madness. A producer and performer of some refreshingly different material” (CHORTLE)

“Inspired: a comedian with plenty of potential” (THE SKINNY)

“Witty, weird and dark; all hail Alexander Bennett!” (HARRY HILL)

“Warm, insane and very funny” (Steven Appleby, THE GUARDIAN)

”Very funny indeed. Very silly and satirical. Just bloody very good. So go and see him or you’ll look very stupid. Very stupid”(FRINGE PIG)

“Unique and hilarious” (THE REVIEWS HUB)

This performance is being recorded! Please turn up well in advance, please don’t come if you’re not comfortable being on camera as part of an audience, please respect any camera crew and the performer. This show is sometimes dark, sometimes crude, sometimes silly.

This show lasts one hour and was originally performed at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe.
