AIR Open 2022 and Micro Launch
Thursday 28th July 6pm-10pm
Join us at AIR Gallery for opening night our annual Summer exhibition the AIR Open 2022; plus the launch of our new initiative 'Micro' Gallery with it's very first show CommonGround. This event is a great chance to meet the artists behind the works whilst enjoying fresh food and beverages from our on-site cafe.
The AIR Open 2022 features 33 artists from around the globe. This open themed showcase presents the best of contemporary art today across the fields of video, fine art, drawing, sculpture, textile and mixed media. Don't forget to vote for your favourite works on show! Kindly sponsored by Castlefield Gallery, Jacksons Arts and Saul Hay Gallery.
CommonPlace is a micro exhibition of 6 artists exploring our relationship with the landscape. This show is exploring scenes that are familiar, everyday and ordinary yet they evoke a sense of recognition and reflection- touching on shared experience. It is not just an exploration into how we as a species change the landscape but how our surroundings change and shape us.
Exhibitions Continue until the 10th September.
