This year's AGM will take place online between 7pm and 7.45pm and will showcase the club's activities and achievements over the past year.

From 8pm, we will join our fantastic guest speaker, Dr Michael Perryman for a talk all about the Gaia Mission.

Dr Perryman is one of the co-originators of the Gaia mission to plot the position, motion, and brightness of a billion stars in the Milky Way with exquisite accuracy, revolutionising many areas of astronomy. After a 30-year career with the European Space Agency, Dr Perryman can provide a unique insight into the history and achievements of this ground breaking space telescope which since 2013 is positioned a million miles from Earth at the Lagrange point L2 (where it will soon be joined by the James Webb Space Telescope!).

This will be a great evening and we hope you can join us.
