This September marks the one-year anniversary of our supper club, dedicated to West African cuisine. And so I’d like to invite you to, "We are One! African Celebration Dinner".
You can expect an evening of delicious Sierra Leonean cuisine, where you can sample some of the family favourites I grew up on. Expect a warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere and a relaxed ambiance guaranteed to make you feel at home.
To set the scene, you will be greeted with spiced plantain chips and a warm and refreshing complimentary ginger beer, (a Sierra Leonean party favourite). There’s a punchy alcoholic cocktail version for the alcohol lovers amongst you. For some reason, that version has proven to be especially popular.
With vegan and gluten-free options available, our four-course menu is both tasty and nutritious. It will excite your taste buds and leave you satiated. So, come and join us for a relaxed evening filled with enjoyment of this vibrant cuisine. We look forward to serving you.
WELCOME DRINK
Homemade Ginger Beer (Ve) - A favourite at Sierra Leonean parties. Alcoholic beverages can be purchased from the bar.
STARTER
Cassava Fritters - With fresh avocado, lime and tomato salsa
MAINS
*Pepper chicken with spicy Couscous
Succulent chicken thighs marinated in a peanut sauce, and baked in the oven.
West African stewed spinach with steamed plantains (ve)
Traditional spinach stew cooked with aubergines, in an onion and sweet pepper base. Accompanied with steamed sweet plantains
DESSERT
Tropical fruit salad (ve) - With toasted coconut shavings

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your African Celebration Dinner tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
