AComedy Club continues it's Autumn Schedule with an absolutely classic line-up of comedy talent, at our briliant venue Acanteen in downtown Chelmsford.

Markus Birdman

Markus is one of stand-up’s most well travelled comedians, much in demand in the UK and all over the world.

After attending several Art Schools, and even managing to graduate from one, Markus became a Graffiti Artist, Muralist, Performance Poet and Glastonbury Festival Poetry Slam Champion. He can’t remember which year, he was fairly out of it. This path would eventually lead him to becoming an award winning Stand-Up Comedian, and one of the very first British Comics to have his own Netflix Special- Live in Amsterdam.

He has written and performed ten Edinburgh Festival Solo shows, and toured Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, Pakistan, Scandinavia and throughout Europe, The Middle East and Far East.

Fatiha El-Ghorri

Underneath Fatiha’s colourful hijab is a mind full of cutting observations and engaging witticisms on the life and times of a British Muslim woman. Fatiha smashes the Muslim stereotypes and challenges people to think about what they think they know about Islam, Muslims, and Muslim women especially.

As seen on The Jonathan Ross Show, The Russell Howard Hour, Comedians V Food, Stand Up Sketch Show, Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club and Comedy Central at the Edinburgh Fringe, Fatiha is quickly making a name for herself tackling tough subjects like Islamophobia and dating by sharing her experiences in her own funny and thought-provoking way.

Nathan Cassidy

‘Star in waiting…he is untouchable’ ✭✭✭✭ The Times Nathan Cassidy is a multi-award winning comedian, star of Amazon Prime 'Bumblebee' and host of global hit podcasts Psycomedy and Daily Notes. In addition to a Best Show Nomination at the Leicester Comedy Festival 2020, Nathan was the only live performer at the Edinburgh Fringe 2020, and his show Bumblebee was a total sell out at the Edinburgh Fringe 2021 and was nominated for 3 awards last year including an Off West End Stage Award. Nathan also picked up the Best Standup Award at the Brighton Fringe 2022

Nik Coppin

British stand-up comedian Nik Coppin has performed all over the world and developed an international following.

Born and bred in London, and now based in Brighton, he has spent over 20 years becoming a global circuit comedian. In that time he has performed all over the UK and in many European countries such as Germany, Spain, Ireland, Hungary, Poland, France, Denmark and Norway. He has also done shows in the USA, Canada and frequents Southeast Asia, regularly touring in Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, The Philippines and Japan.

He has also toured multiple solo shows at the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringe Festivals, New Zealand and Melbourne International Comedy Festivals, all over Australia and the inaugural Hollywood Fringe Festival in Los Angeles, all to critical acclaim.
