Here is the format for our weekly show: We open with an awesome Guest MC host, new material from a Pro Act, some short middle spots and a Headliner Pro Comedian doing a 20-25 minute set including some new material, separated by a couple of breaks, but all over by 10.30pm, perfect for a school night. The setting is the Finsbury's lovely live room, so you can also enjoy cocktails, craft beers and handmade pizzas.

Our Closer for the show is a new material set from ABANDOMAN

Hip-Hop Improv comedy superstars ABANDOMAN are back at the Finsbury for what should be a sell out repeat of their famed appearences in 2013, 2014 and 2015. With no two shows being the same, Abandoman create hilarious freestyle songs at lightening speed based on audience suggestions. Fans of Abandoman will be pleased to learn that this show will feature some old classic songs and new (you heard it hear first) material.

If you have never heard of our headline act, allow Bear Funny Comedy to introduce the Winner of Hackney Empire New Act of the Year, the Musical Comedy Awards and the 2012 Adelaide Fringe Festival’s Best Comedy Newcomer Award. They also supported multi-platinum artist Ed Sheeran on his sell-out UK tour.

Abandoman have appeared on TV a number of times including BBC3′s Live at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, BBC2′s The Stephen K Amos Show, on Sky Arts as part of their Latitude coverage and many radio shows, including BBC Radio 1′s Fun And Filthy Cabaret, alongside Dappy from N Dubz.

However, many people have heard the buzz around this act from show stealing apperences at festivals such as Bestival, Latitude, Altitude, Rockness, Glastonbury, Hop Farm, V Festival. Abandoman hosted the 2012 St. Patricks Day event in Trafalgar Square and have opened for numerous comedy and music acts such as Micky Flanagan, Tommy Tiernan and DJ Yoda.

Opening the show is the brilliant ROBERT WHITE

Since he first came onto the stand-up scene, as a finalist in the prestigious Hackney Empire competition, Robert has gone from strength to strength, and in 2010 won the Malcolm Hardee main award at the Edinburgh Festival. He now is a sought after act who regularly performs in big clubs, little clubs and those in-between around the UK and sometimes abroad. He is a versatile performer who does both musical comedy or straight stand-up and can MC, as well as having written for other comedians and for TV panel shows.

DYLAN GOTT as MC

Nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award performed at prestigious comedy festivals such as Just For Laughs Toronto, North By Northeast, appeared on Bite TV with his own televised special on iChannel called ‘No Kidding’ and hosted his own radio show on Sirius XM Radio ‘The Sport Brahs’. Dylan has been in the UK for a few years now touring the circuit. A great MC, we welcome him back after a great MC guest spot last autumn.
