We are inviting you to a two day event in Sheffield on the Thursday 27th and Friday 28th September to help continue developing the work that we started in Northampton last May.
Remember when you attended an exciting event in Northampton to explore the possibility of forming a network to connect and engage with BAME user/ survivors and work with other relevant organisations and groups?
The feedback from the event showed that participants felt it was important to have time to get to know one another better and clarify the identity of our group before we go further.
We’ll be using interesting and interactive activities to :
Get to know one another better & build connections and trust
Explore our identity as individuals and what each of us can bring to the group
Explore our identity as a group, in particular the collective strengths we have and our hopes for the group as it develops
In order to achieve these aims we are asking that you attend both days - we’ll provide accommodation and we’ll reimburse reasonable travel expenses.
Throughout the event we’ll ask you to share your ideas, experiences and to ask questions through discussions and workshops. By the end of the two days you’ll have formed new bonds, established a collective identity and hopefully feel inspired to continue with this work & help guide its development.
If you want to be part of this event please book your place through Billetto above by 5pm on 1st July
The event is supported by the Engagement Team at Mind.
Please note: Accommodation is provided. Where possible we aim to purchase travel tickets prior to booking for participants. Reasonable amount of travel expenses will be reimbursed.
