A High Wycombe young boy armed with a camera, Gavin began photographing his brother Neville in the early 80s, going on to unwittingly document one of the most misunderstood youth subcultures. Tender portraits and spirited adolescent friendships take us from the British Skinhead scene -later cited as a great influence by Shane Meadows on This Is England, through a transition to 90s Rave Culture and on to Gavin’s contemporary work as a practicing photographer.
We’re delighted to announce that Gavin is speaking live at The Blether this October and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him.
