Join us on Monday 9th October, in Leicester, for an afternoon of discussions with Dr Riffat Hassan, internationally renowned feminist scholar from Pakistan.
The intimate environment will allow us to delve into:
- The dynamics and history of gender identity
- The creation story in Islam and the way in which the Quran and Hadith are interpreted
- Religious interpretation, lived realities and the legacy of Muhammad Iqbal
We will then continue discussions over a relaxed dinner.
Lunch and dinner will be provided.
We do not want cost to be a barrier for entry so this event is free to attend. We would really appreciate voluntary donations to help cover the cost of the venue and catering - contribute whatever you can!
