A night of Sankofa. A night full of the finest roots reggae, afrobeat and jazz fusion in the heart of Brixton featuring the Soothsayers, The League of Rebels, Keahnne Carlita-Whitby, Dj Khu$hti, Dj Jkarri, Angel Seka & yours truly, Sankofa.
Our company is created under the name “Sankofa”, a word from the language of Twi in Ghana. “san - to return; ko - to go; fa - to fetch, to seek and take”. We are using this word to give a message, to people to go back and seek their heritage. We believe that African culture isn’t taught in history as much as it should be, especially in an uplifting way, thus we are encouraging people to be proud of their heritage.
Our event will be on the 29th, at Off The Cuff.
Sankofa Events has gratefully been sponsored by the Ronnie Scotts foundation. We are a Jazz, soul, reggae collective consisting of David Ijishakin, Angel Gzwoski, Khush Quiney, Caique Fonseca, Josh Man, Joshua Gaskin-Brown, Keahnne Whitby and Naveen Ganesaperumal.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
