    Description

Introducing What The Health? A wellbeing panel series created by journalist Amy Abrahams and nutritional scientist Toral Shah, founder of The Urban Kitchen.

Event theme: ‘Help! Something needs to change - now what?’ A mental health wellbeing special

To tie in with Mental Health Awareness Week in May, What The Health? is back with a wellbeing special on self-help, personal development and ways to make positive changes in your life.

Ever wanted to break a habit or take control of an area in your life?

Do you feel like you’ve put up for too long with self-sabotaging thoughts or negative self-talk and want to take ACTION?

From body-image issues to confidence wobbles to feeling lost, we all have something in our life we’d like to change – but *how*? Join us on Wednesday 8 May, where our top team of experts will help you discover the ways you can.

For What The Health?’s third panel event, hosts Toral and Amy will be joined by special guests: psychologist Shahroo Izadi, author of The Kindness Method (@shahroo_izadi); Marianne Power, author of Help Me! One Woman's Quest to Find Out if Self-Help Really Can Change Her Life (@marianne_power_writer); and hypnotherapist Chloe Brotheridge, author of The Anxiety Solution and Brave New Girl, released 2 May (@chloebrotheridge).

Together, we will be discussing how to recognise when we’re struggling, ways to make practical changes and how to incorporate self-care (which, spoiler, is SO much more than just a bubble bath every now and again).
