Hugely passionate about fibre and healthy bowel movements, Karen will talk us through the functions of the different types of fibre, which types you should be consuming more of to achieve particular goals, the essential benefits of fibre and easy ways to get it into your diet. If you suffer from bloating, if you feel your energy levels could be better, if you're not getting to the weight you want to be at, if you don't poo regularly, if you don't feel super awesome every day then this talk is for you! Because fibre is the vital nutrient that will take you from feeling average to amazing almost instantaneously!

Founder of The Happy Bread Company, Karen has worked in the food industry for years. With experience spanning recipe and product development right through to running food companies. Karen has always been frustrated with the lack of proper food education and access to densely nutritious products. Through her new company, THBC, Karen is on a mission to get fibre rich products to the masses whilst informing her customers where possible, on how to eat right for their type. Karen's own personal journey with food has made her a big believer in eating as a form of preventative medicine. Through her products, Karen has completely cleared up her own IBS and the IBS of her private customers. Her genetic rosacea has calmed down significantly and her weight doesn't fluctuate anymore.

Pre her career in food she was producing a TV show, working 7 days a week. Understanding the demands of work pressures and general life make Karen's approach to food and health all the more practical and deliver real results fast.

The talk will be followed by a delicious, healthy dinner served by Counter Albion. The menu will be light and nutritious food using mainly locally sourced ingredients.
