    Mindfulness is a simple, practical tool for a quieter mind, improved sleep, increased focus, more energy and a balanced life. It’s scientifically proven to help cope with stress, anxiety and depression and used within the NHS.

    The 8-week mindfulness course is a well researched and evidence based course developed by Dr Jon-Kabat Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Dr Kabat-Zinn integrated western science and medicine with meditation and yoga practices into the mindfulness programme.

    Mindfulness programmes are also being used within corporate workplaces such as Google, Goldman Sacs and Transport for London. It is also currently being trialed within schools to help improve performance.

    This course starts on Tuesday 2nd June and finishes on 21st July. It also includes a retreat day on Sunday 12th July 2015. The courses timings are between 7-9pm.

    The course is being held at Rasa Yoga Shala (studio) a beautiful space surrounded by gardens.

    You will receive CD's and handouts to help develop your mindfulness practice.

    The 8-week mindfulness training will be facilitated by Varsha Shukla who is a qualified mindfulness teacher, certified yoga instructor and professional wellbeing consultant. Varsha combines her talents and passions to deliver empowering wellbeing workshops within organisations, charities and the local community.
